Within the framework of Law No. 3096, Kısık HPP was launched in 1994 as the first Build Operate Transfer Model. The facility was successfully operated for 15 years and transferred in 2009. In addition, Çamlıca 1 HPP was commissioned in December 1998. The plant was transferred 15 years later in 2013. Finally, the Yamula Dam was launched in August 2005. It will be transferred in 2025. The Yamula Dam, known as the sea of Kayseri, is the largest BOT dam in Turkey after the Bilecik Dam.
